1: Preheat oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2: Slice the tempeh widthwise into thin strips and marinate with oil, tamari, maple syrup, salt, liquid smoke, paprika, and black pepper for 15 minutes. 3: Bake the tempeh in a single layer for about 10 minutes until browned and crispy. 4: In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook onions until translucent, then crumble in tofu and season with salt, pepper, and turmeric. 5: Cook the mixture until heated through, then stir in nutritional yeast and black salt. 6: In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the bang bang sauce. 7: Toast the Ezekial bread, spread bang bang sauce on both slices, and layer with spinach, scramble, and tempeh bacon.
